I had a really bad experience with this company. The Scanwatch became difficult to charge and then the back fell off, which I now know is a known design fault with this model. I contacted customer care, which is primarily a bot which sent me round in circles. Eventually it was accepted that my watch was suffering from this common defect, and as the 2 year warranty had lapsed I was told I could only be offered a discount code for my next order.
My watch was immediately de-activated and the App wiped! I tried to use the discount code, but found that Withings no longer ship to my country! So my watch was now deactivated and I had a discount code I couldn't use.
Three attempts eventually got me a response from what seemed to be a human, who could not help me and had to refer to the supervisor. Their only solution was to purchase the new watch and have is shipped to a relative in another country, who could then pass it on to me.
This is crazy lack of service for what is essentially a known fault on a very expensive watch!
